The Fort Devens Museum now possesses artifacts, documents, and photographs that chronicle the history of Devens from 1917 to the present day. The collections have already proved to be an invaluable resource for researchers from grade school to postgraduate level, and have been featured on several television programs in recent years.
Guided by a comprehensive collections policy, the museum looks forward to further expanding our educational and research roles by continually adding to the collection with appropriate artifacts in the future. The museum will be a resource for future generations of Devens residents and members of the wider communities, as well as veterans and their families.
The museum is currently seeking artifacts that are directly related to both Camp Devens and Fort Devens, such as uniforms, photographs, equipment, deactivated inert weapons and stories. If you would like to donate items, or place items on loan, please contact the museum at: (978) 772-1286.
